On this last day of January, I am reflecting on my goals and resolutions. Hand stitching a few minutes every day has become a habit. A good one for me and hopefully for you too.
Todays stitch is a combination of a large blanket stitch and a pistol stitch. The pistol stitch is a straight stitch with a french knot on the end. It is stitched in one step. The secret is to keep the thread taunt when wrapping the french knot and pulling the thread to the back.
