Happy Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day. My little wrens left the nest early Sunday morning. I was delighted to see shaky wings and wobbly landings. They felt safe landing and taking off in the overgrown lilac bush near by. Earlier in the week they ware so loud that I commented they must be teenagers making all that racket...lol... The door to the birdhouse was about to be pushed open from overcrowding. What a delight to see these little ones take their first flight. They are the best little singers around and I look for their type of birdhouse.

Well my dear friend Millie called me from FL and threw down her dust cloth and gave me a challenge. We were going to get something done this week. I boldly took the challenge and tackled my sons former bedroom. After moving out, he left a mess and an old stereo. I promptly changed the music dial and proceeded to cover the rock band room into a nice neutral paint color. What fun we had checking on each other and dancing and working to the music. Even though she was miles away, it felt as if she was with me all day long. The best part is we both win.... Thank you Millie.

What a whirl wind I have been on. Had a wonderful time in Knoxville with the best group of ladies. Time flew by as we laughed all day long. Beautiful projects were finished and pictures promised.

Squeezed in the graduation of my son from Johnson & Wales University. WhoooHoooo!!!! And he made the deans list.

I am home for 2 weeks and busy getting ready for the Creative Festival in Cincinnati, OH June 24-26. Summer has definitely hit the south. Try to stay cool and do some sewing.

Happy Stitching,
Janice
